Vintage Mohogany John Widdicomb Flip Top, Extendable Game Table + Single Drawer. Elegant vintage mahogany flip-top game table by high-end furniture maker John Widdicomb. Rectangular top with figured veneers, and an applied gilt rule. The skirt has a slightly recessed panel on all four sides, and four rectangular legs taper down to shaped feet. The back side of the skirt pulls out on metal slides, to support the top when it opens to its full square.

The same figured mahogany is on the inside top surface as when it is folded. In near mint to mint condition. The top is exceptional with the most minimal amount of wear, if any. The pictures tell the whole story. On the legs there are some extremely minor dings from the vacuum cleaner (too small to photograph) that have been touched up.

Very solid piece and is structurally perfect. No wiggle in the joints or anywhere else. Dimensions: 36" wide, 18" deep and 29.5 tall. When open, it is 36" square, and 28.25" tall. The space from the floor to the underside of the skirt is 24.5 high.
